Nietzsche reckoned the spirit went through 3 stages. In the first stage it is a camel kneeling obediently while it is loaded. The camel then wanders off into the desert where it encounters the "Thou Shalt" dragon. To slay the dragon the camel is transformed into a lion - the better the load, the more fierce the dragon. Once the dragon is slain the lion is transformed into a wheel spinning out of its own center with all the lack of inhibition and spontaneity of a child.
Celebrate the slaying of your own dragon by doing something totally goofy. If you are mortified by what other people may think, the dragon is still breathing fire ....
